The Yarshater Center is pleased to announce that Volume XVI of Columbia University's Encyclopaedia Iranica has now been published by Brill (https://brill.com/flyer/title/61057). This bound volume replaces the older unbound fascicles XVI.1 through XVI.6 dating from 2012-2020. It covers the same alphabetical range, Kashan to Khorasan, but as a revised and expanded edition adds over forty pages of new material, incorporates numerous addenda and corrigenda as well as updated articles, and includes improved maps and color illustrations.
